"It is the wittiest partition that ever I heard"

We want to create the unholy union of theatre and cinema.
Madness!! Insanity!! Idiocy!! ..Maddeningly Insane Idiocy!! Right?

This will be our ninth year of running our annual Homeschool Shakespeare Play, numbering over thirteen different performances. And almost as a tradition, we've recorded each and every play on tape. We had our humble beginnings, with blurry resolution and quick battery changes. We've had cameramen who shook the camera as they giggled throughout the entire scene and children who tripped over our hastily extended extension chords. But as of this year, we want to try for something bigger.
What we want to try is to coordinate arecorded performance of this year's A Midsummer Night's Dream. And not just with one camera focusing on the entire stage like we usually do; we want to have at least two different cameramen each with cameras focusing on the points of action throughout the play. We want slow pans, close zooms, and cropped views, while coordinating the cameras to focus on the actors who are speaking or performing at the time. We want the entire experience of the play without having to maintain a bland and dull "bird's eye" sort-of view that is so often the case with these recordings. With a bit of editing, the footage we capture can be made into something truly enjoyable to watch and remember all the good times and hard work that were poured into the performance.

But to accomplish that, we need help. We need a handful of devoted people who are willing to collaborate with us and others to record the performance. We need to gather interest in the project. We need at least two people for each performance, both of which must not be acting themselves during the play. If you have any interest in the project, please contact us through the comments!! Your assistance would be greatly appreciated!!
