Throughout the week of Shakespeare Camp, we expect everybody to respect the rules, and not to cause any conflict throughout the week. There are only a few, but we ask you to remember them at all times!!
Under no circumstances should you leave the theatre without first talking with a coach. We do not want anybody wandering around without permission, or even worse, be missing when it is time to gather together. Stay with the others as much as possible.
Never be too close to the cyc curtain which runs near the back of the stage. It is a fairly fragile and may smudge or rip if handled improperly. If at all possible, stay as far away from it as you can. We don't want to damage any of the stage!!
In the case of a fire, the curtains surrounding the sides of the stage fire retardant and will put out any flames. Give them a good pull and they'll come down to stop the fire. But be that as it may, be careful you don't pull them down when there isn't a fire, since they're really troublesome to put back up. Try not to touch them if possible.
Do not bring food or water into the stage. There is a room before you enter the theatre, and it would be best if you left your food in there for now. We do not want any unnecessary messes, especially anything that would stain or stink.
As always, respect the privacy of others and softly knock whenever entering a dressingroom. At the same time, avoid making a mess of the dressingrooms, as easy as that may be with all the costumes, props and makeup that are used throughout the week of camp. Try to keep everything as tidy as you can!!
