As the season continues, we continue to prepare for the week of Shakespeare Camp. Lines are memorized, scenes are blocked and costumes are sewn. But have you gathered together your props?
Although you don't *have* to bring your own props, they are really handy to work with on the stage. A prop can elaborate your character, clarify the background of a scene, or provide something for you to mess around with while you're not reciting your lines.
Just take a moment to glance over your script. Are there any props you should bring for your character?
If you're a drunkard, be sure to bring your own bottle to swing from!! |
For any of you who are attending Leonato's Masquerade in "Much Ado About Nothing," remember to bring a mask to dance in! |
If your character ever handles money, you may want to consider a gold bag. |
