I thought some of our "Much Ado About Nothing" cast might enjoy pictures from our last production. This will give you an idea of how we did the costumes last time. Notice that one of the scenes requires masks for everyone except the watch. The watch, by the way, are a rag tag sort of bunch. Last time we had special uniforms for them to put over their costumes, but we no longer have enough of these to supply our group. It will look more amusing when they are trying to be "official" if they are obviously dressed in peasant costume. If you would like some more tips on costumes, visit my Shakespeare Tools website at https://sites.google.com/site/shakespearetools/extras/how-to-make-costumes.
For those in "The Tempest," the regular humans will have somewhat similar costuming. However, there will be some stylistic ideas in regards to the supernatural characters, so check back later for more! This would be a good place to share your ideas, too!
