"Four nights will quickly dream away the time"

We are rapidly approaching April 6th, which is our date for memorizing ¼ of our lines. I know that camp seems far away, but for those with more than 50 lines, it is important to begin memorizing early. You will enjoy camp much more if you have your lines “down pat,” as Shakespeare would say. I would also like to remind the fairies to memorize the words of the fairy song:

You spotted snakes with double tongue,
Thorny hedge-hogs, be not seen;
Newts, and blind-worms, do no wrong;
Come not near our fairy queen.

Philomel, with melody,
Sing in our sweet lullaby;
Lulla, lulla, lullaby; lulla, lulla, lullaby:
Never harm,
Nor spell, nor charm,
Come our lovely lady nigh;
So, good night, with lullaby.

Weaving spiders come not here;
Hence, you long-legg’d spinners, hence!
Beetles black, approach not near;
Worm nor snail, do no offence.

  1. Have we decided upon the tune we'll be using for this song? Will we be using what was composed last time?

  2. Yes we have, Andrew. And Megan will work on it with the fairies at Shakespeare Camp.
