"..Of every man's name, which is thought fit, through all Athens, to play in our interlude before the duke."

I've run a couple of polls on this blog, but just recently, I asked our readers which of the "Globe Sports Teams" they would be supporting. And in the end, it turns out "Quince's Players" won out as the favorite of the fans.

For those of you who don't know, we runs a small section in our Globe Newsletter running on sports and following the events of the "Annual Shakespearean Athletic Championship." During the last time we performed "Midsummer's Night's Dream," we ran these same teams in our fictional competition. And we hope to rerun them again this year.

But be that as it may, there has been some speculation as to naming our teams. Fairies and knights are all well and good, and although the possessive of "Theseus" is fairly difficult to pronounce, it's all fine in the end. But what of "Quince's Players?"

I've set up a poll as to how we should title our favorite funny peasantry? Should we remain true to our previous years as "Quince's Players," or should we try for something new? "Quince's Thespians," perhaps? Give your vote, and we'll see who wins out!!
