Remember that at auditions we will be judging on overall acting
ability, ability to project your voice, ability to memorize, and maturity.
Shakespearean acting is different from film acting; it is better to exaggerate
movements and diction for the Shakespearean stage. To do this, rehearse in front
of a mirror and give interest to your movements. Also, speak s-l-o-w-l-y. It may
seem unnatural at first, but it will prepare you for auditions.
I look forward to seeing you all February 22 at 1:30 at North Shore
Fellowship. (It is across from the Walgreens on Frazier Ave. and parking lots
are on either side of the church.) When your audition is performed, you are free
to go, but it is fun to watch the rest of the auditions if you have the time.
